Special Education Training

As part of Special Education Training we provide Self-Help Skills , Communication, Socialization , Functional Academics , Occupational and Domestic Skills , Safety Skills , Recreational Skills , Parent Counseling , Self-Help Skills , Communication , Socialization , Functional Academics , Occupational and Domestic Skills , Safety Skills , Recreational Skills , and Parent Counseling

Self-Help Skills

This involves teaching personal and hygiene skills like brushing, tongue cleaning, face wash, wiping with a towel, applying hair oil, combing, applying face powder, etc.

Communication

This involves teaching communication skills as part of the class room training program etc.

 

Socialization

This involves teaching social skills via visiting different places like parks, hotels, exhibitions, banks, post office, airport and traveling by train, bus etc.

Functional Academics

This involves teaching concepts of color, number, time, money, shapes, etc.

Occupational and Domestic Skills

This involves providing training in cleaning, washing, wiping, sorting, buying/selling, setting lunch table, serving meal etc.

Safety Skills

This involves teaching Safety First approaches in day to day activities.

Recreational Skills

This involves providing training in play and fun activities.

Parent Counseling

This involves counseling parents on training their children at home for various need based goals and tasks.

Therapeutic Support

As part of Therapeutic Support we provide Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Behavioral Therapy.

Physiotherapy

This involves providing therapy to develop Fine and Gross motor skills like holding, gripping, balancing, sitting, standing, walking, bending etc.

Occupational Therapy

This involves providing therapy to develop attention, concentration, sitting with tolerance, etc.

Speech Therapy

This involves teaching communication skills addressing oral motor impairments helping them become effective communicators..

Behavioral Therapy

This involves teaching skills to navigate problematic behaviors like dependency, hyperactiveness, anxiety etc

Vocational Training

Culinary Activities

This involves teaching intellectually disabled persons, especially adult women, cooking skills like cutting vegetables, preparing curry, rice, roti, snacks, cakes, chocolates etc.

Book Binding

This involves teaching adult intellectually disabled persons a vocational skill like book binding for making notebooks.

Phenyl making

This involves teaching adult intellectually disabled persons a vocational skill like making phenyl used for cleaning purposes.

Laundry

This involves teaching adult intellectually disabled persons a vocational skill like washing and ironing clothes.

Diyas Painting

This involves teaching adult intellectually disabled persons a vocational skill like painting diyas used especially during Diwali, the festival of lights.

Envelope Making

This involves teaching adult intellectually disabled persons a vocational skill like painting diyas used especially during Diwali, the festival of lights.

Candle Making

This involves teaching adult intellectually disabled persons a vocational skill like making candles.

Hand Made Paper Bags Making
